Museum of Glass

The first glass factory in Bulgaria was built in 1893 by brothers Meshullam close to the city of Beloslav. Today, the tradition of the Austro-Hungarian glassblowers and craftsmen from the former plant “Belopal” is continued by the INHOM factory. The Museum of Glass is located in production areas where you can see the century old applied technique of blown glass, you can come close to the glass furnaces, to closely monitor the production process, to visit the “Glass cave” and “The Glass River”, which “coasts” are flooded by the permanently frozen glass. The museum exhibition shows glassware from the century-old manufacturing tradition of the Beloslav glassblowers.
